Inaugural Seamless CEO, Ainsley Simpson invites you to register your interest now to become a steward member or supporter.
I am so pleased to be in this exciting role as Seamless begins its journey as the first clothing stewardship scheme in Australia. The work to establish Seamless by such a wide network of brands and stakeholders is inspirational.
The consortium led a thorough process with industry to co-design the scheme, laying a robust foundation to drive the work of Seamless over the next five years. A big thank you for such a visionary starting point.
It is my pleasure to inform you that on 1 July 2024, Seamless will be launching its operations. We'll continue to share our priorities and activities for the next 12 months, as well as membership and supporter details, and further information about the contribution funding model and clear next steps.

In the meantime, I invite all Australian fashion and clothing brands to register their interest to become a member of Seamless here.
Also, I encourage industry stakeholders including recyclers, reuse operators, technology suppliers, government agencies, professional services organisations and academics, to register to become supporters here.
Together we can aim to make Australian clothing circular by 2030
Since I began in this role, I have met so many passionate individuals doing incredible work in the area of clothing circularity, and I am looking forward to building the membership base for Seamless with a community that is heavily invested in seeing its success. Thank you again for your ongoing interest and support of Seamless. Together we can aim to make Australian clothing circular by 2030, and significantly reduce the 200,000 tonnes of clothing that goes to landfill each year.
