‘Refashioning: Accelerating Circular Product Design at Scale’, an innovative circular design guide for all clothing brands, no matter the scale, is now available for free download after its launch at the PayPal Melbourne Fashion Festival this month.

This open source, practical guide to implementing circular clothing design is an Australian first and was included in the Seamless RE:THINK Program earlier this year. It was designed using real world expertise from multiple brands across the Country Road Group and has been tested by users on actual products. Examples are featured throughout the guide to show how different design teams have adopted circular design processes in practice.

Refashioning is a collaboration led by RMIT University’s School of Fashion and Textiles, supported by the Victorian Government's Circular Economy Innovation Fund as part of the Circular Economy Business Innovation Centre (CEBIC). It was delivered in partnership with Seamless members and supporters, Country Road Group, A.BCH World and Julie Boulton Strategy and Sustainability.

Our congratulations to the incredible team involved for their ingenuity, hard work and persistence in challenging business-as-usual and striving for a circular clothing future.
