Australia's largest charitable reuse organisation, Salvos Stores, is proudly creating change for tomorrow by inspiring Australians to embrace circularity for people and the planet.
In the last financial year, over 50 million items were diverted from landfill through 400 Salvos Stores nationally. The funds raised through the sale of these items helped to fund programs supporting over 250,000 Australians experiencing hardship and injustice.
Reuse plays a vital role in achieving circularity in Australia. In NSW alone, the reuse sector saves 343,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually - the equivalent of taking 141,000 cars off the road.
Salvos Stores is at the forefront of reuse, forging effective partnerships, continuously improving their approach to reuse and bringing innovation to mainstream use in Australia.
